The Urban Clinic of Atlanta provides free healthcare, education, and support to those who are uninsured in Metro Atlanta.

Our vision and hope are the most medically underserved adults in our community have improved health and wellness and are treated with dignity and respect as we seek to be examples of God’s love for all humankind.

The clinic opened its doors as Urban Health and Wellness in April 2016. It was a volunteer project housed at an Urban Recipe food co-op location in the Grant Park, Atlanta neighborhood, through the vision and leadership of Susan Whatley. The free clinic has grown from a volunteer-operated program to a nurse-managed team of nine part-time employees and over 30 volunteers. UCA continues to be the only non-profit clinic in Fulton County providing 100% free primary care services for uninsured and low-income adults.
